The zero energy eco-tower of Guangzhou city, China is named peral river tower, is 77 storyed building will be completed by 2009 is designed by SOM (Skidmore, Owings, Merill) Newyork to host National Tobacco Corporation of China..The form of the building guides wind to a pair of openings at the mechanical floors which drives turbines to generate energy for heating, ventilation and air conditioning..Prevailing winds of the South generate negative pressure on the North, the curvilinear structure of the tower force the winds through four turbine inlets in the facade..Enough renewable energy is generated by the tower using its orientation, conservation, lighting efficiency, geothermal, energy reuse techniques…It’s a STAND ALONE STRUCTURE IN NEW CHINA
