Solar Power Towers from Dept. of Energy, US

Solar power use thousands of solar panels called heliostats to reflect onto to the central receiver on the top of the power tower. Two towers are built by the Department of US Energy at the desert Barstow, CA. Solar one worked from 1982 1988, and upgraded and operated from 1996 to 1999 produced energy of 10 MW capacity.
